WOW!!!!! This book was amazing.I was given this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP or Lovers of Paranormal). I loved In Too Deep and was super excited to read this one. And Rivers gave me everything I wanted and more. With this being a prequel, I really wasn’t sure which way Rivers was going to go, but every questions I had about Slater and Jess and even Edenton were answered and then some. 

After years of being hounded by her current Alpha, Jess wakes to find one of her visions, (a big drunken mistake) reality. Before things get even more worse now that Gregory had gotten a taste, Jess decides its time to move on and get what she really wanted, a way out and her own bar. Looking to escaping an old life for new beginnings, she contacts Edenton pack Alpha, Slater. Jess not only finds herself the new wolf amongst the Edenton pack, and the owner of her own bar which the new Alpha sold her, but when she arrives in Edenton, Jess realizes that she may have ran right into that which she has tried to avoid. 

The female heroin Jess is amazing and so believable. “He’s not coming in. I’ll answer the door with a loaded shotgun with silver bullets…” can you not tell she can hold her own. New Beginnings is another excellent read in the ‘Others of Edenton’ series, this book really laid the foundation of how Jess ended up in Edenton. Rivers creativity and humor made it so hard for me to put this book down. Her talent to connect the plot flawlessly is amazing. I thought I loved Fallon and Brody, but Jess and Slater are HOTTT as well. It’s something about these Alphas and their feisty women that has me waiting for more. Rivers has quickly became one of my favorite authors!! The ‘Others of Edenton’ series is a definite Must read!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review (LoP). And honestly I liked the book even without having read the first one. It was a very quick read and there were some sections of which I felt i needed more background and had various unanswered questions because things moved so quickly. But most of those questions were answered by the end and I’m sure that some of the background to tie up some loose ends most likely are in the first book. However, I loved the Vespar characters created and would like to go back and read the first book. 

Three was a rebel from the beginning with a temper that was hard to control and a distorted memory but as you continue to read you find out why. I really fell in love with Sychar, he just had something about him that drew me into his character and his rebelliousness as well. :) (I won’t spoil it) Author Nola Sarina, really surprised me with some of the twist that happened with the main characters, Three, Sychar and Jack and I’m looking forward to hopefully another book that will lead in the direction of Sychar……

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome…….did I say Awesome!!!!!!! Ok so I will never look at a circus the same again. This book displayed magic and illusions in a way I had never read before. The first couple of chapters it took me a while to read (I personally just couldn’t connect, but as I kept reading things got much better).

Two characters bound to a challenge at a very young age, neither knowing the exact rules of which to play by but brought up with very different instructors and philosophies. One taught through books, the other through experience; each not knowing who the other is or when and where the challenge begins. As the story progresses this elaborate circus is constructed and thus the game begins. With an entire circus as the venue for the challenge both Celia and Marco displays there talents to the best of their ability not knowing that the risk to them both is greater than the reward.

A very beautifully constructed story full of illusions, unexpected events and forbidden romance, this is definitely a novel I would read again and also recommend. Author Erin Morgenstern created a story told from various characters point of view :-) and it’s what made the story so much more interesting as you took the journey with the characters as each story entwined to complete a spectacular novel.

In a quest not to mix business with pleasure, Gianna finds it hard not too when she seeming now has to go through Jax to get to the bottom of the acquisition fall out.

In a sizzling first novel to this series, Sylvia Day has done it again……as if we would expect anything different. Emotions are strong, the chemistry it HOTTT and the mysteries have yet to be uncovered. This alpha male is after what he wants but yet pushed away, but Gianna is determined to play by her own rules this time and to get to the bottom of all this chaos. I read this novel in less than a day!! Sylvia Day really knows how to set up a story and I loved it!!! It is a cliffhanger, but I know with Sylvia Day that the next one will be just as great as this one and I’m looking forward to it.

Picking up exactly where the previous novel left off…….Gemma wakes up from only what she wants to believe was a horrible dream but quickly finds out that because she can remember it….it’s not a dream at all but more of a nightmare and she doesn’t know who to trust. Alex is trying his best to protect Gemma from others and herself, but he has no real indication how to do so. The more Alex finds out about Gemma, the more his past begins to make since and not in a good way. Determined to find her mother in the Underworld, Gemma sets the group on a turn of events that she wants to take the blame for but little did she know the events were already at play and she was a pawn in the game….

I absolutely loved this book!!!!!! Jessica Sorensen is such a creative writer. I love how the characters are so believable and you get completely drawn into the story as you take this incredible yet scary journey with them. Gemma is so torn between what she wants and all theses new experience that its hard for her to know whats right and whats wrong. Alex is the pillar, but just like some pillars, his walls are beginning to fall as the layers are revealed and he learns truths he’s not yet willing to fully accept. Laylen is a lost tortured soul who’s confusion and hurt is strongly felt in the novel, just as Aislin emotions and confidence is all tangled up in the morass. I could go on and on about these characters that I’ve grown to love, but I will leave you to read about them and grow to love them as I have. Though heart broken at the conclusion of this novel, I’m eagerly anticipating the next one in the series as author Jessica Sorensen left me on such a huge cliff hanger……..

This is a must read!!!
